Where does this data come from?
The Florida Department of State, Division of Corporations publishes a free daily file of corporate filings (corporations, LLCs and limited partnerships). We download it every business day, parse the official fixed-width layout and keep the business fields.
What's in each record?
Entity name, document number, entity type, status, filing date, principal business address, city and ZIP, and a link to the official Sunbiz record. We leave out officer names and addresses, and there are no phone numbers or emails.
What will the paid feed include?
A daily CSV and API feed of new Florida businesses, filterable by county, city, ZIP and entity type, joined to contractor licenses and building permits where they match. Planned at $49/month. Nothing is for sale yet.
Is it free to try?
Yes. This page, the REST endpoint /api/v1/new-businesses and the MCP tool new_florida_businesses are free during early access, with a 60 requests per minute limit.
